It is hard to live in a nation where every person worries about fashion, especially when one is poor and hungry and not able to afford the next meal, or to even know if they would be able to rest comfortably at night. Much less, spending hard earned money on pieces of material that are of no use other than giving one the ability to portray one's self in a way that feels 'best' to them.

Tell that to Reebok too! Making people who don't earn US$200 / month desire a pair of US$200 sneakers more than a good meal!
