| Brazil offers technology to Africa Brazil, a major global food producer, is looking to expand links with Africa by providing experience and technology to African countries seeking to improve food production, according to Brazilian Minister for Development, Industry and Trade Miguel Jorge. A Brazilian delegation will visit Ghana, Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea, Reuters Africa reports. Brazilian farmers have embraced agricultural biotechnology, which is contributing to higher farm yields in that country. Brazil has also invested significantly in biotech crop research and development ? including work on soybeans, corn, eucalyptus, papaya, potato, rice, sugar cane and tobacco. Say your words . |
