This is one of my favorite recipes. It is not only for breakfast just because it contains eggs.Make sure you follow the directions and try to hurry the recipe by cooking at a higher heat.
I am having this for dinner tonight. Just thinking about this dish is making my mouth water!

This is perhaps the most popular dish in the Philippines. Can be easily prepared, anyone can do it, event the if you don't have so much experience in cooking. Best served with steamed rice. Try and enjoy it. The recipe on the link is one of the many varieties of preparing it.

Why don't you try cooking it yourself. Most of their dish are just easy to prepare, no need to be culinary expert.

You got that right Hilda. The good (and maybe the bad) thing about Filipino Food is that it will not be complete without rice. The food are cook to perfection. Uses different local spices which leaves a very memorable and delicious mark to everyone's tatste buds.

I've found this recipe over the net, another great tasting chicken recipe:CHICKEN CURRY

1 chicken (1 kilo)
2 large onions, quartered
3 bell peppers, red & green, strips
2-3 stalks celery (1 1/2' long)
3 potatoes (big cubes, fried)
2 tbsp. curry powder 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 tsp. vetsin
1 tbsp. patis
1 tsp. salt
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cup thick coconut milk or evaporated milk
1/2 cup water
Cooking Instructions
Cut chicken into small serving pieces. Saute garlic until light brown; and finely chopped onions. Stir till onion is wilted. Add chicken. Pour in patis, stir for 3 minutes. Season with curry powder, pepper, vetsin, amd water. Cover and simmer until chicken is half done. Add the rest of the ingredients except the coconut milk (or evaporated milk).
Add milk when chicken is done. Keep stirring until liquid boils. Cook for another 5 minutes.
For a more spicy chicken curry add 2-3 minced hot pepper.

Every complete meal requires rice. Why don't you give a little omp to your rice by trying this simple fried rice recipe:Serves 4 to 6
This is a basic recipe for fried rice that you can add to as desired. If adding other ingredients, increase the number of eggs to 3.
Need a bit of help? Here are step by step photo instructions showing how to make basic fried rice.
Ingredients:
* 1 - 2 green onions, as desired
* 2 large eggs
* 1 teaspoon salt
* Pepper to taste
* 4 tablespoons oil for stir-frying, or as needed
* 4 cups cold cooked rice
* 1 - 2 tablespoons light soy sauce or oyster sauce, as desired
Preparation:
Wash and finely chop the green onion. Lightly beat the eggs with the salt and pepper.
Heat a wok or frying pan and add 2 tablespoons oil. When the oil is hot, add the eggs. Cook, stirring, until they are lightly scrambled but not too dry. Remove the eggs and clean out the pan.
Add 2 tablespoons oil. Add the rice. Stir-fry for a few minutes, using chopsticks or a wooden spoon to break it apart. Stir in the soy sauce or oyster sauce as desired.
When the rice is heated through, add the scrambled egg back into the pan. Mix thoroughly. Stir in the green onion. Serve hot.

Are chicken in Brazil reared the normal way or genetically modified? I have heard that most genetically modified broilers do not taste nice or rather, have no taste at all.I have mad love for chicken so I hope the recipe does not take much of my breakfast time. Does anyone have a recipe for fish? I once went into this hotel and their fish was yuck! I would love to cook them myself.

I don't think a country has one specifically source of poultry products. There maybe some parts of Brazil that supply such genetically modified chickens but it is not right to generalized it all in all and even if there is a poultry company that is releasing genetically modified chicken, I don't think they will admit it because they know that people are conscious to what they eat. Haven't tasted a genetically modified one so I don't know.

I am also crazy over chickens and love any recipes that come with them. Of course the recipes should be scrumptious and mouth-watering. I've visited some of the recipe links provided by other forum members here and will try them up as soon as I arrive at our hometown. Me and my husband are currently on cruise around the globe now but still managed to get my hands on those tasty chicken dishes.
