'TEFL jobs in Porto Alegre' Porto Alegre

I currently live and teach English in Bogota, Colombia and I am planning to move to Porto Alegre very shortly. I was hoping someone could give me some advice on getting a job teaching English in the city.

Specifically I hope to find out any schools to apply to, whether it is possible to get a job before arrival and any details of VISA requirements.

Any other useful advice would be gratefully recieved!

I thought James was looking for a place to teach English. With a job in mind, I doubt whether a vacation is on his mind now. Nonetheless, I suggest you first go to Port Alegre then look for job openings there unless of course the sole reason taking you there is a TEFL job. If you have something else to do as you look for the job, that would be the best way to go.

If you have contacts in the said location, they will be of good help. Have you tried any online searches for the same? It all depends on whether teaching jobs are available and what mechanisms are employed in sourcing for professinals of any kind.
