Summary of Experience

1. Worked as project coordinator in NGOs, CORE (Cooperation for rural excellence). Core is a grass root level NGO, which work for the development and upliftment of poor. To justify its cause Core has adopted various income generation projects. As an active member of this organization I handled various projects related to Microfinace and Microcerdit. I worked exclusively for the formation of SHGs (self help group) and try to analyze the criticalities of its sustainability and operation.

2. Worked in the Project of Super cyclone Orissa1999 being conducted by NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research, Colorado, USA). (http://www.sc99ews.com). I worked as project Coordinator for this project. This project was a great leaning for me. The project is basically focused on the status of early warning system in Orissa. At the end of the project we came up with various ideas to mitigate natural disasters. We have also tried to project the current technology being followed by the state to mitigate natural disaster.

3. Working as a trainer for REDP (Rural Entrepreneurship Development Programmes) EDP (Entrepreneurship Development Programmes)

· Present I am working for a society named as Sikha ‘o’Anusandhan base d at Bhubaneswar, Orissa, as Asst. public relation officer. The society is dedicated to impart technical education for the upliftment of the youth. Have you tried posting this resume anywhere else? I would try and posting it on like job sites or maybe even in your local newspaper. This is a really good resume and I am sure if posted enough places you will get a reply soon.

I agree with Liz. Why in the earth did you post your resume in forums like this? Do you want to be employed? Then try submitting this to employment agencies. There are lots of them in the net if you just search. you have good credentials there, you might get a good job if you just do the right thing dude.

Not really a good place to post resumes or anything close to that. This forum is supposed to be discussing Brazilian jobs for heaven's sake.

I knew that a CV normally has that part of declaring that anything you might have stated is to the best of your knowledge. Serves to shade enough light on the many kinds of resumes there are.

Employment agencies will be smiling, I am sure!

If you are seeking for jobs, you might want to go for appropriate sites, but if you are that desperate then i have to agree that posting your resume on forums like this could, atleast help bargain your self.

But i think i have to agree with the rest of the guys in this forum. Why not post your credentials in employment agencies that are in search for a qualified applicants like the original poster.

Impressive CV, with you being a multi lingual, is suggest that you go apply as a call center representative. You are of ace over the other applicants for you have 4 mastered languages.

Or i would suggest that you go apply on schools that offers different language courses. That would be the best place for you to apply if you are looking for an immediate job.

I would love to work in Brazil doing something in the creative department, but I do not know if dat dream is attainable, at least not at this moment in time.

Dear Sidhya, nice getting to know you. I also admire your CV and all the details you give. Obvously, this is probably not the place for this piece of art. Where are you actually? Try the New York Times jobs section. You can register your CV and sit back for the employers to find you. Even local Brazilian employers. A CV like your is not common. Show them what you´ve got!

You certainy ave to show your credentials to them Eve so that you can be able to get their attention and probably an impressive resume would be very much catchy. No wonder where you want to work at, as long as you know what job you are aiming and that you are competent, you can really acquire a job. Anyhow, I wish you good luck and update us here about your job hunting.

Yeah, I have to agree that no matter where you plan to work as long as you know that you can work and you are competent, then you are fine working anywhere. I just hope that you can be able to find a job soon, because nowadays the competition for work is so hard.
