| Questions: LANBOX USA (http://www.lanbox.com)? How can a service be so bad? I have been waiting for over 30 minutes for an ONLINE CHAT... I'm from Brazil.. I dont understand why when I reach this site (http://www.lanbox.com), everything is in SPANISH... Somehow the site redirects to a spanish idiom.. Here in Brazil we dont speak spanish... We speak Portuguese... So I want an ENGLISH SCREEN.. I DONT SPEAK SPANISH. ...When I skip the introduction I have a page written in spanish.....And when I click "contactenos" in "http://www.skyboxusa.net/contact.asp" I have a "page not found message"..This service is disgusting. |

Yes, I agree. It is really sad when a web master things he can outsmart his users with stuff like that.Not sure what is wrong with having a system that allows a user to easily select his language.... language selection based on IP address is faulty at best and completely dysfunctional in many cases as you described above. The solution for you, would be to use a proxy or VPN so you could access their website from a USA IP address and presumably get the English version. Which of course is useless to the large Hispanic population in the USA. |
