With those skills you won't have problems finding jobs. Have you ever tried working as freelance? You could do on you free time, maybe after work. Try looking at this site (below). That's the best freelancer's site I've joined so far. They are also a lot jobs there (real ones).
Have you ever tried like a computer store. Like when they re make computer and hardrives?

Theo, instead of trying to find a job thats going to pay you what you deserve with those skills and experience why dont you just open up your own business.

Ted, you have just voiced what I wanted to say. Come on, the dude has a cumulative experience of 52 years. Add that up to his years and you agree with me he is quite an old man.
At your age, you should have been able to establish your career. I would suggest you try freelancing but if al does not work, perhaps something is pushing you in the direction of entrepreneurship.

I have to agree with Ted.. Your 25 years experience may have saved you lots of bucks and you could have the guts to put up your own establishment. I think that it would be more wiser than to seek for new employment. If i were you i would want to be the boss now.
And with that long experience i bet you now know how to come up with your own IT firm.

Well it depends if he got his self some huge savings. What if he doesnt? Besides, putting up an IT firm is not as easy as opening up a restaurant. IT business requires lots of fighting spirit to be possible. You have to hire lots of professionals which are i bet highly paid nowadays with their expertise.
Let us just wait for a post coming from Theo Gruijters fro whatever he prefers to do.

Wow! That guy speaks a lot of languages. I wish I were bilingual. I guess I need to get some tapes and books and start brushing up on my foreign languages, again.

With skill set like that, I would just make a living out freelance projects where could be high paying and could support my needs.

Yo0u should be a CEO or something, with all that experience under your belt you should have a lot of money in your back pocket. freelance and consulting should be the way to go for you. Quick easy bucks and working on your time.

That is true, and I have to say that you certainly have an impressive background. Speaking several languages and being in business for 25 years now, you might want to put up your own firm, but why bother to apply for a job when you can try Kasi's suggestion. But anyway, we have our reasons and we are entitled towards our choices. Good luck anyway and have a nice day.
