I am a musician currently living in Houston, TX. I will be moving to Curitiba in June 09. I have a lot of questions and would love to connect with some US expats. Hopefully, I can find someone there to communicate with online during the next few months. My questions range from everyday matters like what to bring vs what to wait and buy there, to more specific work related questions. If anyone knows any working musicians that speak some English I would love to meet them. I have began Rosetta Stone Brazilian Portuguese and I do speak Spanish, so I hope to at least be able to defend myself when I get there. I like the way guys are organized in here. No email slip ups or any sort of rhetorical questions. The initial post is so comprehensive that you are really drawn to helping the musician. Not so much about where Americans hang out but more of what to equip yourself with when heading there.June is over so I hope you are enjoying your time in Brazil; musically at the very least
