Please assist me in my quest as I would like to purchase the new T2c kombi's engine, radiator and other componants for my 1976 T2c kombi Van. These componants will then have to be exported to me in Johannesburg, South Africa. Please direct me to the correct channels. KInd Regards Louis De Nysschen

What is wrong with just buying a car from a private person or a car dealer in the country which you live in?
yeah I would have to agree with Blaine and say just look at and buy a car from a dealer or person in the country where you live, than it would be less hassle, and you wouldnt have to deal with the money change over and the title and plate transfer, it would just be more difficult and pry more expensive to buy it outside the country which you live in.

the reason he isn't buying in his own country is because he already has theses vehicles. He want to import his already owned vehicles..
what does it cost to import cars?
Or maybe he wants that certain car and can't find it wherever he lives. The one dude lives in South Africa maybe it isn't that easy to find VW Kombi parts where he lives.

Are the cars your own or are you purchasing them from someone with the sole aim of exportto Brazil. Get hold of the customs office and you will get the help you need. If I were you though, I would consider buying a VW in Brazil to cut the costs and hustle involved with exporting. Exporting could take you a great deal of time unless that is your only option

Hi, Nick! And other buddies. I think there are companies and professionals that handle this type of thing. In my experience, donīt try to dive into the world of customs and shipping companies by yourself. Itīs a hassle. Stay away. A professional will get you through with ease. Right!

What Henry is addressing is a particular topic of concern in export circles. A whole load of people will prefer to go it alone in the belief that such a move would save on costs and time.It is however dangerous to have such a mindset in the situation that you possess very little info about the export business. As he has very well indicated, do not go it alone. There are professionals to handle that!

One would surely think that someone would much quicker want to import a vehicle into Brazil from the United Kingdom, rather than export one out of Brazil to the United Kingdom. I am a little bewildered by this person's actions.

Does Brazil make vehicles now? The last I heard, they have not really stretched on over into this particular field of interest, not just yet at least.

hi to export a kombi out of brazil is impossible for a person on they own the kombi need to be reg to the person the person need a address here in brasil then to export all taxs need to be payed and outstanding fines then the problem start no one can export out of brasil a kombi unless your reg has a exporter of used cars if you find a exporter the kombi has to be changed into they name before exporting so to finsh a exporter is the only way look at paying around 1, 500 pounds for this with shipping this is a sevice we carry out weekly exporting new and splitscreen kombis to uk at (santacatarinakombis) we are on the innernet

Why don't you try a logistic solution provider but be prepared for the cost you would need to pay just to transport a car.I suggest that you should just look for local suppliers or distributors of automobiles. This give less hassle on paper works you need to accomplish in acquiring one. there might be just one around your town instead of buying directly from suppliers and having the all trouble for taking it home

You can export from Brazil it takes time and there is a lot of paperwork but after shipping costs duty & vat ect charges you will still save 5-10k depending on what you buy ie year / model on a new T2 purchased in the UK, it will give you grey hair doing it but you can i did, good luck.

Hi Petrol, Could you give some more detail on how you managed this? ie. what companies did you use to transport and the contacts you dealt with in Brazil.
Thanks,
Gus.
